Care and Repair Cymru Visit

Last week I visited Care & Repair Cymru in Clydach, and spoke to the dedicated teams of both Care and Repair Western Bay and Care & Repair in Powys who are working to improve homes and enable independent living for older people. Care and Repair are a vital part of social care within our communities, offering targeted services to support those with conditions like hearing loss and dementia, help older people transition safely from hospital to their homes, and supporting members of our farming communities. It was truly inspiring to see the passion and the pride they take in making a meaningful difference to people's lives. Thank you to the team for sharing their insights and stories with me, it was a pleasure to hear about the work you do.
