Disability Rights
As Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Learning Disability, I speak out as part of the 'Stolen Lives' campaign against human rights violations, and fight to ensure that the rights of disabled people are foremost in the minds of those who make important decisions that affect them.
I am also a member of the Cross-Party Group on Disability which works to address key disability equality issues for all impairments, including the implementation of the Social Model of Disability and the right to Live Independently.
