Spotted: the rare Fen Raft Spider

What a privilege to see the rare Fen Raft Spider with its spiderlings at the Pant-y- Sais Nature Reserve by the Tennant Canal.

A few weeks ago I joined Clare Dinham from Buglife - The Invertebrate Conservation Trust and Researcher Anna Maka from the University of Nottingham.

It was a special thrill as I am its Wales Species Champion!
