School investment welcomed and celebrated

It was a pleasure to attend the official opening of new classes and Welsh immersion centre at Ysgol Gymraeg Pontardawe last Friday with Cllr Chris Williams, Mayor of Neath Port Talbot, NPT Council Leader Cllr Stephen Hunt and Deputy Leader Cllr Alun Llewelyn, NPT Cabinet Member for Education Cllr Nia Jenkins, and Governors - and hear the pupils perform. 

When I was Chair of Governors there, we were always looking for funding to improve the buildings. Great to see the school finally getting the investment it deserves.
