Below the Belt film screening

It was a honour to speak on a panel this evening discussing the widespread problems in our healthcare system when it comes to the diagnosis, treatment and understanding of endometriosis, following a screening of the film Below the Belt. Thank you to FTWW Volunteer Millie Nicol for bringing this powerful documentary to Swansea, which exposes societal taboos, gender bias and gaps in the medical knowledge about this debilitating illness that effects one in ten women. Diolch to all who shared their views and experiences.
