‘Homes Not Hospitals’ Protest

As Chair of the Cross Party Group on Learning Disability, I was very glad to speak at the Stolen Lives protest at the Senedd today calling for Homes Not Hospitals. We must see an end to the breaching of the human rights of people with a learning disability or autism by wrongly placing them in hospitals and units, and ensure they are supported in their communities. I will continue to press the Welsh Government to end this injustice.
